He is Faithful

Thinking about God’s faithfulness this morning as I read Psalm 89.

I will sing of Your mercy and loving-kindness forever and with my mouth I will make known Your faithfulness from generation to generation.

Thank You, Lord, that You have established Your faithfulness in the heavens. It’s unchangeable and perpetual. O Lord, who is a mighty one like You! Your faithfulness is an essential part of You at ALL times! Even in the midst of our storms – You rule the raging of the sea. When it’s waves arise, You still them. Yes, the heavens are Yours and the earth also, the world and ALL that is in it – You have founded them. You have a mighty arm and strong is Your hand. Your right hand is soaring high. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. Mercy, loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound,. A people who understands and appreciates the spiritual blessings. They will walk in the light and favor of Your countenance! In Your name they will rejoice all the day and in Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength and by Your favor their horn is exalted (to exalt the horn of the people means to give them power and eventual triumph) AND they will walk with uplifted faces for our shield belongs to the Lord and our king.

Thank You Lord that today we know the JOYFUL sound! We recognize and are thankful of your blessings in our lives! We will walk in Your favor! You are our strength! You exalt us and give us power that leads to VICTORY! We will walk in confidence and security today because our shield belongs to You! Amen!
